He doesn't, which is why he pumps silly nonsense like he heard lupus patients don't get coronavirus or parrots ideas he heard from various Fox News as he did yesterday about 3M after Ticker Carlson did his show on them.

 

If nothing else, this is proving my theory that the economy is just one big Ponzi scheme.

If he has trial data we don’t have and it looks great then talk away. It just seems odd to focus on this vs the other treatments being explored without it.

The bigger problem is how he is suggesting people use it - or at least how he would like to use it. Here are his comments today. Is the supply of CQ not still tight? He should not be suggesting that people that do not have CV should take it as a preventative measure or set that example (unless he’s actually positive and doesn’t want to say so):

Trump later stated he would take the medication, likely as a preventative measure, given his negative Covid-19 testing.

"But I think people should [take hydroxychloroquine]," he said. "If it were me, in fact, I might do it anyway. I may take it … I have to ask my doctors about that. But I may take it."​

 

If the daily growth is 7%, the number would double every 10.24 days.

 

7% is a nice, low growth comparably.

Tennessee has been doubling about once every 4.5-4.8 days for the last couple of weeks and before that about once every two days (likely the effect of the test ramp). If the state maintains a lowdown to once every 10 that would be great.

 

I'm pretty sure my wife has tried to kill me at least 4 times, and I haven't even been at the house most of the time. I can't imagine being locked in the house for 3 weeks straight

 

As a Christian and a libertarian, I agree with this wholeheartedly. I got my fill of the conspiracy memes about closing churches and got on my soapbox about it on the facebooks yesterday. I hope I lose friends over it at this point.

Sometimes he says things to publicly to pressure people / discussions, right or wrong.
