In retrospect, it would have been much wiser to hire Kippy Brown as at least an interim coach and evaluate him for the 2010 season which btw is what many of the mods on this board recommended at the time.
are we really to believe cutcliffe wanted the job, but was willing to give tenn the high hat if they didn't offer immediately? that seemed strange to me. seems far more likely to me that he was never offered because of the fulmer connection.
I've never understood why ADs are so dumb when they negotiate contracts. are they really so stupid to think dooley would have told them to go f themselves if they wanted the buyout to be $2 mil? these agents just screw these ADs constantly.
If you can name a more disastrous AD than Hamilton, enlighten me as to who it might be. And that Jimmy Sexton milked it for every ounce it was worth, and as frequently as humanly possible, didn't help. Hamilton makes the AD at UAB look like Charlemagne.
