So where does Briles go next? When all this comes out he's gonna look terrible but this is a forgiving country, especially for a guy with plenty of dumb country charm.

reading the Baylor message board. both sad and amusing. a lot of people defending briles saying he can't know everything. then i read the "new head coach" thread with names like herman, fuente and a bunch of other people who wouldn't touch this job with a ten foot pole (and frankly probably wouldn't have taken it BEFORE the allegations). some want sonny dykes

 

This will stay with him but yeah he will get another chance with some sorry ass school. Like a West Virginia.

That is legitimately insane. These guys are living in their own reality.

 

really really stupid if true. what you do is pretend you never heard anything and ignore it. going to meet the victims and then not doing something is utterly idiotic.

 

I assume "met with" was a means just to temper the noise, considering the level of idiocy we are dealing with here it wouldn't surprise me if the coaches themselves paid these women with personal checks to be quiet.
