Yeah he's fine. So is the holdup that he won't do the show without another black host or that he just won't do the show without Jenelle? And why would ESPN be overly concerned about replacing her with s black host, anyway?

The White House should never say something a sports show host says is a "fireable offense"

I already fired them. Flipped over to that show, watched 20 seconds and turned the channel. I only watch ESPN for live football games. Probably gonna have to watch football with the sound off if they continue to use the nasally new yorker Mowins as the play by play announcer.

Exactly. I don't remember anyone from the Obama administration saying NBC should cancel The Apprentice for all the shit Trump said about him during the Birther years.

Wilbon just compared NFL players to slaves in the plantation.

Sounds like pure hyperbole used to make a point. I’d like to see the reasoning behind the statement that a bunch of millionaires have it so bad to be compared to slaves when contrasted with the average person in his or her job though. If they are looking for sympathy, that is in short supply in this society. Most people get a raw deal in general. That said, the president and the White House should not be involved in this stuff in any way. It is a damn disgrace.

He sure didn't give the impression that he was using hyperbole.

I found a video on twitter but can't figure out how to post it.

He basically describes a pretty standard employer-employee relationship then says it's like being on the plantation.

People do stupid things when irate. They also do stupid things when intentions get misrepresented and used as political footballs.

No viewpoint is immune to that stupidity either.

This wasn't a quick take. This was way after the fact and he had plenty of time to formulate this statement.
