Mens tea is part of it though. If they did it knowingly, pound them.

Acting moving to a private server to handle private and secret info is illegal as hell.

I'm guessing she had a person or people that she just dictated to.

If this is a problem for Clinton, it's a problem for anyone sending/receiving classified info.

Keep in mind that most people (in the DOI anway) just get shitcanned if this happens in a bad way or more than once. But those are people much lower on the ladder than Secretary of State.

    Were they classified???

Seriously, I'd like to know more about the nature of the classified emails, not what is in them.

I read something, can't remember where, about the ridiculous things the gov't has deemed "Classified".

There was no intent to handle classified info.

Private info - illegal or against procedures (fireable)?

    Fair enough.

Honestly, I'm not trying to defend Clinton. This seems to have happened more than just with her, and am pointing that out.

You can usually survive one oops but you're right - not two - at lower levels at least.

The potential for oops is the best reason not to have official communications on a server in your house. You'd have to imagine state's unclassified servers are more secure than a box in her closet.

I think there is a tad of difference between doing it for every communication and having the occasional screw up.

What do you mean? The personal server bit?

If I screw up and get a speeding ticket because I mistakenly exceeded the speed limit, I still get a speeding ticket.

It's their job to know what they can/can't do.

Are they saying others occasionally communicated via personal accounts?

But there are gradations of penalties based on how over the top with your speed you were being.

right, but if your buddy gets a speeding ticket every day he loses his license while you just pay a fine.
