Mostly the reason is “I want one.”

    They don’t really have utility.

18 year old can't protect their residence? They can own a house but not a gun?

Whenever this type of thing happened at Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, the kids just fought back and took care of things themselves.

True, give one kid wolverine claws, another glasses that shoot matter from their eyes, and we're set.

It's called a bowcaster. Boom, firearm knowledge demonstrated.

I had no idea. I’m properly educated. But I’ll probably forget.

I think the term firearm typically refers to weapons requiring gunpowder.

I have a Kel Tec 12. I mostly have it because it's cool as shit. I would use it for home defense, but I never shoot it, and wouldn't be comfortable using a weapon I'm not totally comfortable shooting

I said "buy", and not "possess".

Let someone who is over 21 buy it and be responsible for whomever else has access and use of it.

Don't get me started on age of consent. I don't think you should be able to do just about anything before you're 25.

    I'm no standard.

That's the oldest age that I think would have sufficient support to pass the law.

28 for marriage. But yea. 25 for everything else.

I keep a handgun in the nightstand in case an intruder breaks in, and I need to quickly shoot myself so as to avoid meeting new people.

I think I'm going to get the tax stamps for an SBR and a suppressor. I have no need for either, though.
