If so, Dooley is lucky and doesn't even know it.

It apparently is true. I'm on 247, and a mod from the Ohio State 247 site is now asking everyone's opinions on Hiestand.

Tell him he turn boys into men and recruits like a well oiled machine. Try to keep a straight face.

Tell him he is awesome and that our program would be set back another 5 years if he leaves!

I see others beat me to it.

  12. Tell him if they managed to lure both Dooley and Hiestand away, they would probably win 5 straight national championships.

He should be terminated simply for considering tOSU. The Obnoxious Shitty University. I personally despise that school more than any of our SEC foes.

Dooley needs to ball up and screw you and the horse you rode in on.

The only fact about him being the offensive line coach is that the line looked offensive a lot of the time.

Yeah, now that I think about it, it's fairly offensive for him to go on that interview. Dooley would have been well justified in firing Harry, but chose to be loyal to him. Harry showing how much he appreciates that loyalty. Dooley should fire him over the phone while he's still in Columbus.

I'll let bygones be bygones if he gets the job and is gone.

And quite frankly, firing a coach for interviewing is too Fulmeresque for my taste and how he treated Mike Barry because he dared talk with Notre Dame.

Dooley stuck his neck out by not firing Harry. Fulmer didn't do anything special for Barry.

I still think Chaney is to blame for the running game.

Since he is OC, id agree. I can't help thinking not having a legit rb coach didn't help the situation either.

While not totally blown away by CHH, I think it is more of a schematic flaw as well. That's on Chaney.

If it's a schematic flaw, I don't understand why the same players got worse in their second year of the same scheme.
