One thing about a young team, especially a freshmen class with so many state champs on it, they don't believe they'll ever lose.
I highly doubt it, but it's really unbelievable Tennessee's 3rd down conversion isn't somewhere around 20%
Our third down play calling has been so unpredictable as to be wacky. We'll run it on 3rd and 9, set up a screen but throw it to the other side, etc. as well as going for a conventional down field throw. If our 1st down play calling were as good, we'd actually be a solid offense.
Share a glass with me, brother! On a side note, my son's 7pm football game got mysteriously pushed up to 11am Saturday.
As we sit here and try to find a way Tennessee can eek out a victory, it would be hilarious if Tennessee comes out and just skull ****s Oklahoma.
I think they are gonna have to have made some changes in philosophy with this OL and QB. The defense can not dominate yet, but are good enough to get a few stops when needed.
We'll have to have a freshman coming out party. Hurd with 150 total yards and 2 tds, Malone with several big plays, Barnett with 2 sacks and TKjr having a pick.
I probably would get fired for talking massive amounts of shit with all of our Nouveau-Bammers that we have here.
