The key for me is that Gruden nor the AD office has either denied or confirmed...if this was just smoke both parties would have come forward and cleared the air. IMO
Perfect scenario for me: Oct. 29th (0900 ET) - UT Press Conference announcing Dooley's departure Oct. 29th (1200 ET) - Leak of a UT Press Conference at 0900 on Oct. 30th Oct. 29th (2035 ET) - Gruden turns to Tirico and says, "Mike, I got something I'd like to say...."

I'm with Jaytrain. If this doesn't happen, I'm taking a hiatus. I want to believe though because I like this site and it literally put itself on the line with the Gruden is hired thread. If that doesn't come to fruition then this site becomes the laughing stock of Vol message boards. I don't think Tenny would put himself out there unless he was 100% sure so that has me hanging on to a little hope.
If anyone is wondering, behind the scenes here the folks who came forward with the info have not budged an inch. They're sure, even behind closed doors. Must be based on something or someone.
No doubt. Everyone is standing firm which is good news to me. As it was mentioned before, we're here at the party running low on booze (or spirits) wondering when the guest of honor is showing up.
