Interesting Take on the Vols Quarterbacks

If by putting a leash on him you mean asking him to manage the game then yeh I agree. Taking what he was able to do last year, managing the game, not making huge mistakes and combining that with the talent around him now I really think he takes a step forward. That's not some VN pump up bullshit, it's just how I feel.

 

He performed well on the last two drives of regulation. But the most telling play from that game in my eyes is how he takes what should be a gimme TD pass to North on a 3rd and long and damn near squanders it by hesitating enough for the corner to make up ground, then doing his damnedest to put the ball out of play.

I can't help but be slightly optimistic about this season. There's going to be some very ugly times, but I think there's going to be a lot of good too.

I believe they'll win a game they have no business winning and then look like dog shit against a mediocre team.

Beat UGA and then get horsewhipped by Ole Miss or something along those lines. I have a feeling UGA isn't going to finish well

 

There may be a ray or two of sunshine early on too.

 

People can laugh, but 4-1 after Florida isn't as far-fetched as some want you to believe. Now, it's just as likely (or more so) that we're 2-3 (still doubtful of 1-4), but 4-1 isn't complete crazy talk.

 

Beating Florida is always nice.

Yes, especially during off season when starving for Vols football news.
If I could get away with it, I'd live in CBJ's office to try and absorb every
word spoken about the Vols. Since I can't do that, I roam the www to sop
up anything on our Vols. BUT if that offends folks here, I'll not post my findings.
