Agreed. I don't trust any independent butcher shop with cheap prices.

When you turn into Norris off of HWY 61 (light at the intersection of 441), go all the way up the big hill and into downtown. When you see the middle school on the left, keep going around the school and you will see it on the left.

 

I lost it when he flipped over the package from the dollar store. Who buys that shit?

Don't expect Walmart meat prices, it will be a bit higher. I cannot give you a %, though, as I don't recall. But you can get a 2" steak if you want one because they can cut it for you there.

 

Definitely wasn't expecting Walmart prices.

They have dry aged as well or just wet aged?

 

go to local Kroger or whatever and get flat iron. Not flank. It's sealpacked. Be @ $10. Marinate in a baggie with Worcester sauce and dry rub if you like. Cook to medium. Slice thin. Will feed 2-4 of you. Cut it with a fork.

 

Is marinate code for 'add salt and pepper only'? Also, you left out 'rare' after you typed medium.

 

I dont like bloody. Gray on edge and pink thru is perfect.
And its how I like the flat iron too.
