I am severely disappointed. I was hoping to see maybe 150 people in attendance on two little stands next to the lines. And I would have REQUIRED everyone to wear high socks. Those pants down to the tops of the shoes look horrible.
First take was sarcastic and not really expected. Well, was kind of hoping for it, but I understand. the second take is not sarcastic and I loathed the heel length pants in baseball. looooooooooooooooooooooathe.
Only took three weeks for the season to go to hell. Glad Chain decided not to do anything at the deadline that could have actually helped.
So 2021 broke the record for most no-hitters in a season already with 8. The first 6 of those were against only 3 teams - Rangers, Indians, and Mariners were all no-hit twice. Then the Dodgers and the Padres. 1990 technically had 9, but they rearranged the rules after the fact which voided two of them (a rain out 6-inning no-hitter, and one where the pitcher only pitched 8 innings cause they were away and lost 4-0 from walks and errors). But Bumgartner threw a no-hitter in a double header game that doesn’t count because even though it’s considered a full game, it’s not really a full game since double headers are shortened…
