I thought they could win 95, not because they were a juggernaut, but because the division is that bad.

 

I figured they’d score 2 runs 60% of the time.

 

I knew my Brewers would have pitching, but the hitting seems to have taken off and that little 11 game streak has done wonders for them in the standings.

 

I had the same thought.

I didn’t have anybody in the division winning 90 games.

 

I don’t think they’re very good either. But they played a bunch of shit teams in June and caught basically every matchup and break to their advantage that they needed during their streak.

Combine that with the Cubs basically trying to wave the white flag before the season started and then adding a shit pile of injuries on top of that, along with the same on the injury front for St Louis and here we are.

 

The Cardinals have walked 20 batters and hit 6 with the bases loaded already this season

Sounds like MLB is getting rid of the runner at 2nd in extras and the 7 inning double headers.

Also sounds like DH is coming to the NL.
