This is the first championship by a team I support in my adult life. Last one was the 1998 Vols. It’s been so long I forgot how to react. What do I do with my hands?

 

Until the Braves beat them in the NLDS last year, they were undefeated all-time in postseason series. They had made 2 playoffs in their whole history and won it all both times. That’s just insane.

 

Use them to purchase all of the championship merch you can possibly afford. Even if you don’t think you need it, you need it.

They have made so much money on football though. I had the “privilege” of spending the night in Tuscaloosa over the summer (my wife’s mom’s new husband is from there unfortunately) and holy smokes that place has exploded since I was there in 2005.

 

Would still rather stay just about anywhere else.

 

It was disgusting. Every establishment there was Alabama Crimson Tided out to the maximum.

 

I can only imagine. I used to take an annual trip to Starkville a few years ago and stay for a day or two. It took longer to get there, but I always made a point to avoid even driving through tuscaloosa. Too much crimpson.
