I really do like Chattanooga. I live around Nashville now and have a pretty good business going or I would be there.

It's silly really, but when my brother moved to north central Arkansas, Dyersburg was always the stopping point before finishing the trip.

I've lived in both cities. Even though it would make tons more sense for me to live in Nashville, I picked and would pick Knoxville over Nashville every time.

 

Regarding OP, I'd go with Nashville.

 

It's a nice area. The have a Bass Pro there now and Cabelas is opening this coming year.

South Holston is a little piece of heaven on earth. Beautiful lake with a healthy walleye population.

 

I don't live in Queens. I have a back yard and fart space. Maybe I can't piss off my front porch, but I can walk to 6 different types of restaurants and be downtown in 3 minutes. My kids have three different parks to play in and a community center, plus I live three blocks from work. I'm telling you, it's pretty good.
