Netflix Streaming Recommendations/TV Talk

Finally watched season 2 of Masters of None.

Strong.

 

What helped me was going to imdb and looking at characters names and pictures beside them.

 

I don't know how to answer you, honestly. I don't recall watching the first two seasons and thinking any point was dull. Admittedly, I felt that way at times during the 3rd season, but the first two seasons were as equally strong as the fourth season so far, in my opinion.

I'd ask if you just don't like the setting. I know there are certain themes and settings I can't find any interest in and find inexplicably boring, so that's the only way I can relate.

 

I will say the second season's ending left me in a "holy shit" kind of moment, and I would personally guarantee your enjoyment if you made it that far.

I don't enjoy watching TV much, but I find it one of a few shows that generates genuine interest and excitement due to its quality production and story.

 

I'm not a fan, I've tried like hell too.

 

Amazon has a few three hours of classic cartoons from the 50’s and 60’s.

My kids love them and a million times better than watching Moana another time.

Yeah that was the first movie mine went crazy for and just wanted to watch it on repeat basically.

 

The period and the redneck version of the English accent don’t really appeal to me, I’ll admit.

 

I've decided to take my viewing to Godless tonight.

Mine was Sing. Then Moana. Now The Grinch.

 

Grinch the cartoon wouldn't be that bad, but Grinch the movie would be a personal hell.

 

All I hear about is pokemon and terraria all day every day.

 

Don't have that anymore. Thankfully mine were mostly spongebob. No wiggles or Barney or those weird space looking softies or that little Caillou wuss. Please don't let your kids watch Caillou.

 

Caillou sucked. I hated that whiny little shit. My eldest had a rather strong obsession with Thomas the Train for a long time.

 

Spongebob is dumb as hell. I couldn't handle that.

The lesser of the evils I mentioned though. I enjoyed plankton.
