I specifically told them that’s what I was going to do. They offered to lock in for two years of 150mb/140 channels for $70/mth. After all taxes and fees and shit, comes out to about $85/mth. Which is less than getting internet and a live stream service.

Yeah that’s solid. I’m at about 110 before taxes and fees - but also pay for two boxes. So it’s about 160 a month by the time the fees, taxes, and rentals are added. I own my modem/router.

Just saw The Revanant. Easy to see how Leo earned his first Oscar.

I've watched a few episodes of The Good Place. It's from one of the creators/writers of The Office and Parks and Rec. It's the guy that played Mose, Dwight's brother. It's OK. It isn't as good as Office or Parks and Rec, but has some funny moments.

Watched Abducted in Plain Sight the other night. It's scary weird. I thought it was a good watch.

The abducted stuff is hitting a little close to home.

There's quite a few going missing in Eastern Kentucky and Tennessee

This is really different and weird. Happened in the 70's.

Human trafficking to drug dealers, primarily.

Wife works in the arena working to stop this, and she says that girls are being lured away in record numbers in broad daylight.

    Like, the mall.

Human trafficking is off the charts.

I realize its trafficking. Are more kids running away after getting suckered in, or getting snatched.

mccreary county ky seems to be the central point that these people are going missing.

Seems to be tied to drugs. There’s some crazy shit going on there.

I don’t know which is the higher but both are at play. Drugs used as the controlling mechanism once tyebkid is obtained.

All jokes or seriousness aside on the virtues of Houston as a city, it is an absolute shit swamp when it comes to human trafficking. American, Russian, Hispanic, Asian, African - you name it. We’ve been working for a few years with our church on various aspects of it. It blows my mind just how hard it is to actually even take something down like a massage parlor / brothel. And there are numerous on main drags in otherwise normal areas. Maybe I’m naive but it was jarring to me.

Netflix options can be overwhelming. There are so many things on my list I’ll never get to.

What exactly do drug dealers want with humans?
