That's the same guy who was wearing his military uniform to rallies and protests about 8 years ago, refused to stop doing so, so was discharged.

He didn't need to compromise. He ran on immigration reform and in the summer of 2010 it was on everyone's radar

 

The most this bill will do is put undue burden on the states. Look for multiple lawsuits from them. Also, we will never have meaningful immigration reform without addressing the security of our borders.
