Bought a backpack leaf blower. Turned an 8 hour job into 3 hours.

 

Probably pick up one of those in three or so years. My rake engines will be of college age by then.

If you have a yard big enough for a rider, get a leaf sucker attachment for it too. Turn a 3 hour job into a 30 minute job.

Did take some leaves to cover an area where my dog has turned into a mudpit.

 

Blow them in the neighbor's yard, not you're problem anymore

 

I do the same thing. Except instead of blowing leaves, I plant coconuts.

I don't have a yard big enough for a rider, so I bought this, thinking it'll cut the time down.

I think it has increased the time.

 

I had a mulcher kit put on my rider. Shreds the leaves into basically nothing.

 

One of my neighbors has a Cyclone Rake for his zero turn.

He’s usually done before my coffee finishes brewing, and then I go put in 8 hours, the bastard.

 

I get my entire yard done pretty quick which is nice. Thing that pisses me off the most is I don't have a single tree on my property but I always have plenty of leaves to mulch.

 

Or, live in the woods like me and don't give a shit since you cannot grow grass anyway.

 

We’re talking about leaves, which are the things that come off trees.

 

I basically have one tree in my backyard, a 25 year old oak tree that stands about 50 feet tall. Covers my yard and three of the neighbors. The leaves get so deep I pretty much have to rake.

I wish burning were an easy option, alas laws and such.

Not really a problem down in my area. Leave just stay on all my trees all year long. I think my yard gentleman has to pick up the occasional palm frond.
