Percent chance we get Gruden?

In hindsight last time after learning of all in play we had a 1 percent chance at best.

I say that to say I think it would currently be about 10 percent. Bit different culture.

If I was setting odds for all possibilities for UTs 2018 coach, I would make Botch most likely, Mullen 2nd (kind of a compromise between proven and a star), then the Brohms and Norvells and similar. Most likely big name would be Patterson, Kelly would be 1.5%.

I'll go 35%, Gruden is my fav, but I'd take CK, or Patterson

I think % on Patterson might be lower than Gruden.

 

My director at work talks about nothing else. I am like "why? did not not see his last few years at LSU?"

 

Coach in 2018:

Jones: 7 percent
Kelly: 5 percent
Gruden: 3 percent
Patterson/Stoops: 0 percent
The field: 85 percent

 

Easy sell to a willingly gullible fan base.

 

And we'd probably pay him a good bit more than LSU was. Hooray!

 

And he was All-Butch until this year. Guy is a complete "It's UT, and it has to be right" kind of guy.
