And the good news is that he loves Tennessee.

 

Jon Gruden loves Tennessee. Loves it, personally. Deeply. Legitimately. As does his wife and kids.

Whether that translates into his saying yes is yet to be seen, but even if he doesn't, he still legit loves Tennessee.

And he REVERES Johnny Majors.

Yes. He loves football, Johnny got him in and sold him to nfl coaches and without him, Gruden doesn't get a break as quickly and doesn't meet his wife.

If you can best either one of those, I stand in complete awe of your prowess.

 

I'm always willing to give it a shot. If your coaching mentor is anything like Majors my work is cut out for me and I probably should reserve a liver transplant now.

 

He's on his 3rd kidney, but his liver is superhuman.

A rookie coach tried to hang with him while we were night fishing for trout on South Holston Lake aboard the rook's pontoon boat & staying in his dad's (former Tennessee High head coach) boathouse. I warned him not to do it because he'd kill him. Damn near did.

Was my first experience at being the designated driver on a boat.

 

He ought to be more careful. They might not let him have another kidney.
