That'd be my pick. Belmont is retooling. The OVC is tough enough to prevent them from winning a league title under those circumstances.

 

Their frontline is absolutely mid-major quality. Their guard play is very good, however.

There roster might be down, but as a program Xavier is not mid-major. The Cintas Center is as nice any arena in the country.

 

It's really tough to make an argument that Cuonzo is a better coach.

 

I think Mcrae is a really talented player offensively. He reminds me a bit of Jalen Rose. We shouldn't completely suck offensively with him out there.

 

I was at the Georgetown game. I'm not sure what additional evidence is needed of Martin's offensive incompetence.

 

Both suck. Pearl did make adjustments by squashing his style to make a move in the tournament. To this point, Martin hasn't even shown a style.

Seems like a good coach to me. You just don't make it to this level and make 6 straight tournaments at a pretty bad basketball program without being better than awful.
