They've been past the Elite 8 how many times? The exact same number as Tennessee. Their "history" is one Hall of Fame coach. Without Norm Stewart, they're Iowa State.

 

Yeah but Florida is pretty much in the same boat. They had Kruger take em to a FF but other than that its all Donovan. Can't really discount either program just because their success came under 1 coach.

 

I certainly can Missouri, given that Norm hasn't coached a game in over a decade. By your argument, Oregon State is a great program because of the run Ralph Miller had and UNLV is an elite operation because Tark won 80% plus there.
