Downloaded it last week. I'm not playing it a ton like some are but it is fun and it's getting people out and about. Don't really understand all the hate this game has been getting from some. Just be responsible playing it and don't be stupid. Otherwise it's harmless fun.
Do I need to post the pictures I took of probably 100 people playing in one small corner of Centennial on a Monday night last night, or do you want to just take my word for it?
It's not really my thing either, but kids my little brother's age absolutely love the shit, and it's going to become a massive industry over the next few years. With all the strides they're making to allow anyone to stream and anyone to watch other's play, that industry is about to explode.
So we have millions of people playing a game made by a foreign country. A game that uses your camera that feeds video to their servers. People exploring sensitive areas that include Police Stations, restricted zones, military bases etc... If I was plotting a major offensive attack, what a better way to gather Intel than from the nations citizens themselves; and mask it as an innocent nostalgic game. Think about it.
