Man I hope this is the case. NASCAR sent a pretty clear message that they won't tolerate this, and Bubba doesn't have to go to the track with some closet racist shithead.
Yeah as annoying and emblematic of our times as a hoax or honest mistake would be, it's a good sight better than their being an actual noose hanging racist in the fold.
Somebody also should have been like “you know the way that rope is tied to make a handle probably isn’t the best optic”.
