If someone told me that Scott Frost has only been allowed to recruit players from the city of Lincoln, I'd believe it based on seeing them line down across from friggin Northwestern.

NW with them on the ropes but playcaller got scared on 3rd downs

Every coach needs to have a director of common sense that can veto any really dumb idea.

Example, kicking a onside kick when having all momentum up 11.

Also, give me Danielson in the booth before Huard any day of the week.

been saying it for years. Common sense and in charge of timeouts under 2 minutes. Hear a double reverse coming after you are shoving the other team around? Nope, common sense hits his button and you call another play

he was on fire in 1st half but like a golfer who loses his swing mid round and spends the rest of the day searching instead of just swinging.

Frost will get fired this year. That onside kick was moronic.

I watched them today and a good number of times last year. While there are some major red flags when it comes to a lack of identity and no sign of toughness, their biggest problem is that after 3 recruiting classes they have ZERO talent advantages anywhere. Frost may be one of the all time duds when it comes to recognizing guys that can play.

I just don’t see how anyone will ever recruit well at Nebraska again. Some groundbreaking NIL maneuvering would be the only way. They’re soooo far away from where the talent is.

Everything that made Nebraska great is dead, minus the fan base. It never will get back to what it was.

He is not very good at evaluating talent. Also is too stuck on playing guys that are more senior instead of just playing the most talented.

I'm assuming you're alluding to more than the walkon program. Besides that, all they ever really had was an identity that the players bought into and that was cultivated by an amazing collection of coaches under Dr. Tom.

Steroids and the days of college football only showcasing select blue blood programs on TV helped too.

What he's done with the roster at Nebraska is very similar to what Brad Scott did for five years at South Carolina. Sadly for Nebraska, there are no longer any Lou Holtz's around who specialize in pulling a program out of its own grave.
