May be wrong but still thinking $$ comes into play and leaving SEC team out will cost everybody money. Alabama vs Washington or Michigan is cash money for everybody from sponsors to vendors. Washington v current FSU isn’t.

I do think it is significant to point out that Bama was ranked ahead of Tennessee with the same record DESPITE the head to head result, just LAST YEAR. So this would be a reversal of that. Why do we even have a “P5?” Just have the SEC secede and hold its own postseason tournament. That’s the only way to guarantee you’re getting the “best 4” into a playoff.
