I'm thinking you never watched jerry rice if you think he was a rich man's wes welker. I'm willing to bet he had more plays of 20+ yards in his career than moss. probably by a wide margin too.

    Jesus. We're talking about receivers.

I thought the topic was athleticism?

    You're a dumbass.

Moss was Mr. Basketball in WV with a future NBA teammate.* Moss didn't play pro basketball because he was that good at football.

You are mistaken. The "4.12" was hand timed. Actual 4.12s do not exist in real life.

Moss won 100m and 200m States when he was a freshman in HS. He didn't run again.

    I do agree with that.

RockyHill Loves Auburn more than Tennessee.

By football players they don't. Track guys can do it , right? I honestly don't know but I thought it had happened.

Google "justin Gatlin 40 yard dash". Report back.

There's no difference between track guys and football guys in 40 yards.

If I had the choice of being remembered as a guy that played when I felt like it or a guy with 3 super bowl rings and every record that mattered, I would take the latter.

    I'd take Randy Moss.

No question Rice had the better career, but that doesn't necessarily mean he was the more dominant/unstoppable player.

Someone asked who's career you would rather have, me personally I'd rather have Rice's career.

I agree with you there. I just don't think "best career" = "best player."

A lot of people have tried to do a little math to make 100s into 40s. Which doesn't calculate the 40 time accurately.

    He was, however, quite dominant/unstoppable.

Rice had a hell of a head coach and 2 hall of fame famers throwing him passes.

Moss had Green, Tice and whoever at Oakland and Culpepper and whoever in Oakland before teaming up with Brady and Belichick
