I'm a 20th century caveman who doesn't know how to use/read twitter so apologies if this is coming from a random fan and not Rucker, but apparently there have been several recent tweets about Butch not signing his extension.

I don't know that I want butch gone right now. We are at a fragile stage talent wise, and I have no faith in Hart making a good replacement hire. Let him leave a year or two from now after the cupboard is full again.

if he can parlay the shoddy coaching we've seen to date at UT into another couple Years 0, he should do it. If he's never around long enough to lose the shine, he'll always have year 0.

Why is Rucker always so combative with people on Twitter?

 

Like he is some middle life stage of a parasitic worm. Always getting out before things go bad.
