oh I imagine if you hire a clear upgrade it probably won't be obvious from day 1. not many of those guys around. just ask florida. but remember chip Kelly was at new Hampshire as an OC before Oregon and harbaugh was at a div 2 school that didn't offer scholarships before Stanford.

yes, there aren't any top level guys available, but plenty of elite coaches weren't considered slam dunks before they were hired.
