Sab is an Idiot Thread

Could've talked sports at the Waffle House.

 

Most waffle houses I've been too are within a half mile of a school.

So that's out.

 

Again, this is before his reputation had really begun to get rolling.

I'm not from the south. The first thing I think of when I need to kill some time is not "let's head to the Waffle House."

 

Seriously, I keep seeing that it's weird to hang out with someone I had never met. Would it be weird for me to grab a beer with someone now? Let's say Jay. If so, why? Because I'm a few years older? How does that make the situation different?

It would not be weird to grab a beer with Jay. Unless you were 18. And it was in his car.

 

So the age is the only issue. The car is a nonissue because if we were allowed to drink it elsewhere, we would have.

What is different about age 18 and age 21 aside from the drinking age?

Think of it this way. If I was 18, living on my own with a full time job, would it still have been weird?

Oh, & the car thing wouldn't have nor ever will happened/happen. I would have grabbed a bite to eat with you in a very public place and with other people in our party. I don't think you had any other intentions that what you've said, but there's just some lines, at least to me, that one shouldn't even give anyone the slightest of evidence of being potentially crossed. And for the record, I don't blame you (for lack of better terminology) for how it went down. Even though you were 18,you weren't the adult in the situation.

 

I would think at some point, your spidey sense would kick in and you would question why a 30 year old wants to have a beer with you in his car.

 

The flesh was willing and the mind was weak.

 

Is Sab known outside of the Tennessee football universe?

I'm amazed how much is out there on him.
