It rubs me the wrong way that others are picking up the tab for a site I regularly read/interact on. I have no problem chipping in with that being the case. I also know that not everyone shares that sentiment which is why I proposed the donation fund idea.
I don't think its worth paying money to get rid of Google ads, but if other people are paying money for us to post here, I want to chip in.
That is perhaps what some people don't realize. We have some generous folks who are making up the significant shortfall between the ad revenue, which isn't much, and the cost of the site's hosting and what-not.
It is not so much the ads themselves as it is the limitations the ads put on posting freedom. And this is America, where freedom is next to Godliness. As long as you pay for it.

Finding what's buried on Oak Island would probably fund the site for infinity... Oh, and I'd chip in a bit of cash. Tapatalk, or at least the version I'm using, doesn't show polls, and I'm too lazy to use the website.
It seems like enough time has passed that neither side should care. I'm kinda surprised Freak has left PM's disabled this long.
