Half serious question... Legally, could the UT AD start a gofundme page to pay for the buyout? I'm fairly certain that the fanbase would come through and it might (?) give him more room to hire who we need without Haslam interference?

Not quite sure what the optics would end up being, I could see it getting spun negative.

 

Maybe, instead of the inevitable search firm that has returned to us such great coaches as [ddiapos] and Butch Jones, we should just look at the Vegas odds and hire from the top of that list.
