I like the new Sturgill a lot more than his last album for sure. It’s good shit

 

I saw the Red Clay Strays last night at the Ryman, I would recommend going to see them

 

They are on my list to see as soon as they are somewhere close to Knoxville.

the new Isbell album is pretty good. The online praise is kinda over the top. But he sounds like 2 or 3 guitars. It’s impressive

He’s had a live version of Nose on the Grindstone on Spotify for a while, but I was excited to see Oneida as the newest single. I’m assuming Jersey Giant is going to be on this album too since he’s been playing it at shows a lot lately.

Edit: Just saw that the track list was released for the new album and no Jersey Giant. Wtf…

 

And I’m glad that we are getting some songs that sounds like his older stuff. Purgatory was damn near perfect.
