I think Jackson was a very talented vocalist, especially early on in his solo career and an outstanding performer/showman/entertainer, but Prince was in another league as a musician and an excellent vocalist and entertainer in his own right.

Prince was a bad mother****er. He could wail on a guitar. Very talented guy, sucks he passed.

He died in an elevator. Some easy upper and downer jokes there.

Willie Nelson makes a good case for legalizing Marijuana. The guy gets around just fine at 82, hardly the dangers that Just Say No and D.A.R.E. warned us of in the late 80's, early 90's.

If his lungs were already compromised from pneumonia, a small amount of opioids could suppress his breathing to fatal levels.

Just saying their are other possibilities.

Thank you, guys. I hear opiates and my mind races straight to heroin.

Supposedly had or needed double hip replacement surgery and was in a great deal of pain. You may remember his cane years.

It isn't a health tonic, but we were lied to about it. It's pretty much unfiltered cigarettes in terms of danger. Bad for you, but not deserving of it's control status.

I deer hunt on a farm that Willie Nelson used to own. I've never found any marijuana growing on it and that disappoints me.

Is this the Buddhist equivalent of facebook's "God's not done with me" posts?

There was a big grow operation on the mountain that I grew up hunting on. I vividly remember when someone in the club would say "where you hunting in the morning" and hear back "over by the marijuana patch"..

If it means we are all not perfect and don't always live up to our ideals, then yes.
