We don't have Bojangles down here, so that's on our list of places to go while up visiting my family.

Also, if you're not getting the double meat, substitute hash browns for grits, at Cracker Barrel, you're not doing breakfast right.

Casserole's are sofa king awesome. And they're even better as leftovers. They're the gift that keeps giving.

 

Growing up in the country southern baptist church, I have eaten every type casserole imagineable, and I agree.

 

Don't really want it when I've gotta go out and chop cotton. Not that I did a lot of that

 

They're the staple of all southern church gatherings. Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Church of Christ, I've casseroled at all of them. And fried chicken. Usually five different kinds too.

I still await the fried chicken casserole. The pinnacle of casseroles.

 

If you're ever around DC try Stomping Ground, it's a chicken biscuit place. The hashbrowns and grits are both good and large enough serving to be split 3 ways.

 

BTW, Popeye's seems to exploding in popularity

 

Exploding is exactly what kind of diarrhea Popeye's gives me.

I've only tried it once but thought it was pretty bad
