He's a good point man on the PP no doubt but that is it

How did Patrick Marleau get 3 years at 6.25 million? He's still got some game but damn...

How long until RNH is on the block? No way Edmonton can afford all three of the centers right?

You would think this coming season will be it, They're going to crash into the salary cap hard in the near future.

Grigorenko heading to Red Army, I would've liked the Rangers to take a flier on him with an out clause for the KHL if he wasn't playing. The talent is there, kids been in shit situations since day 1 in the NHL.

I've been saying the same thing about the Preds and either he or Yakupov. They are going to be cheap, so give them a low risk contract with an out clause

i just discovered the K in KHL stands for Kontinental. I found that hilarious for some reason. Like a knock-off brand name or something

Theres something floating around out there saying that Grigorenko hasn't actually signed anything yet.

Depends on the cap going forward of course, but he'll be making runs at 120 points from beginning to the end of the deal.

They'll need to draft and develop a la the Chicago model, Talbot is a winner on a good contract, but they'll need to hope they can ship out Looch and Sekera.

The tough part will be find versatile veterans who will be willing to
    A) Take a fair amount of real money less due to Canadian taxes
    B) Convince their wives to move to ****ing Edmonton.

A isn't that big of a deal, but man, Edmonton seems like a place I'd like to live; however it's the Lubbock of Canada.

Happy Trails to Kevin Klein. Solid career but glad to have his cap space back.

Kleiner says he was only playing for his teammates and had lost his fire, and wants to just walk away and work on blacksmithing and working on cars.

Respectable to leave big dollars on the table because you just don't want to do it.

Lindy Ruff joining the Ranger bench as their defensive specialist. Happy to have him aboard.

Chuck Greenberg seems to be good ownership material, and Ronnie Franchise is a solid GM.

Once the ink is dry and that Mother ****er Karmanos is gone I'll rescind my 20 year long hatred vow for the Carolina Hurricanes.

Arvidsson needs a new agent, that or his camp considers last year an outlier.

Heck of a deal for Poile.

No state income tax helps a little, but he's getting paid second line money to be a good to very good first liner now.

Nashville's cap situation is going to be unbelievably good by the time they have to resign any of the defensemen.
