i'm pretty sure he'd be 2nd string on Tenny's flag football team

Its atrocious. I think we all knew the OL would struggle. Just thought the guy getting paid to know would figured something out since April. Foolish on my part.

Same song, different verse, imo. He just has more help than North this year.

If I'm wrong after this coming week against a team with a pulse, I'll be more than glad to admit my errors.

  4. I don't know what it makes him, but it doesn't make him terrible. Average? OK? Meh?

Who knows? I'm just happy that he looks better than he did last year. It makes me feel good, and I have to enjoy that while it lasts, because it's about to get ugly.

Practice squad QB is the correct answer.

    Enjoy away, my friend.

But if you know it's going to get ugly....

All of the arguing about Worley is moot because the group of bodies we try to pass off as an o line is what will get us beat the next 2 games.

I think our definition of "suck" is different and that is the main argument here.

    Probably.

I'm admittedly very particular when it comes to coaching. Very particular.

I would be too, but Worley wouldn't have to throw for 300 yards and 4 tds against a top 5 team to convince me he didn't suck either

You kinda accounted for the two sorry defenses we played, but you didn't account for his completion % being massively increased by essentially a bunch of handoff throws down the line. Take those away and he's way below 50%. Over 10 yards i bet hes in the 15-20 range. Over 20 he's pushing 0.

2008 crompton/stevens sucked, IMO. he's better than that. he's not even close to c clausen or 2006-7 ainge, either

We are seeing the same thing.

He's marginally better at most. Crimp was similarly inaccurate, couldn't hit moving targets but had hammer cannon. Cromp also beat up sorry competition.

they didn't beat up much of anybody in 2008

He threw 417 touchdowns in our opener.

at UCLA? nah. he didn't. 417 incompletions, maybe

threw a few the next week against UAB.

Got beat out by Stephens, who threw up an impressive 13-7 victory over NIU.

Then that bunch got beat by Wyoming?

If a guy is compared to bad Crompton or Rick Clausen, he sucks.

you guys are saying he's that bad, and i'm saying he's not. that's all. nobody thinks he's good. the rhetoric is just over the top.

He's pretty damn bad. Time will tell who's more in tune.
