I can handle being 100 ft underwater with sharks, stingrays & other dangerous things, but get me 100ft off the ground & I'm ready to start punching anyone around me.
I'm here now. Tuscany is having some amazing weather. I'll see him Wednesday. Will deliver the message for you.
Got my backpack swiped today in Rome. Lost my passport, iPad, oakleys, chargers, clothes, etc. Moral of the story: never trust anyone to watch your bag for you.
If you were in Mexico, they would have kidnapped you and cut you into little pieces. At least you have your head attached to you neck. Glass half full?
Got the passport problem fixed immediately, though it did cost an extra $135 to get the temporary one. The ipad is the worst, from a cost perspective as well as a security perspective. It has all my passwords in the notes, though I doubt the common thief is interested in doing anything involving them. Regardless changing everything is a [itch bay]. The other main issue is my phone charger was in there, so my only form of picture taking is now on a consistently low battery. Just adds to the frustration. Between the Oakleys, the ipad, and the passport replacement, about a $600-700 loss. that's not counting the various other items I had in there (books, clothes, etc.).
Oakleys? IPad? Italy? Highfalutin folks up in here. Guess I'll just play it safe and wear my Panama Jack glasses to Dollywood.
I dunno what you're talking about. I don't have an iPad, although hopefully my guy in Rome will be getting one to me here soon
