Lot of excitement today. Really entertaining day of golf. GM was incredible. Still a lot of guys in this.
Bummer that Tiger is, essentially, out of real consideration. Hossler has the body of a 40 year old complete with the high pants. I think I would pick him last in every PE class. But, kid looks really good, composed and has a solid future.
I don't agree with a lot that he says, but Johnny Miller doesn't have the hated effect on me that others have for him. His candor when they hit bad shots rather than making excuses may be it. I do agree that he has some weird ass philosophies and can be an utter [Penis], but so can I.
I've got no issues with Johnny Miller either, but Bob Costas has gone from one of my favorite announcers to one of the most unbearable. He's trying way to hard to create a magical moment instead of just waiting for it to come. As for the tourney, I'm all for the AJGA kid. a 17 year old high school kid talking about winning the Open on Saturday night and actually having a shot is awesome. Realistically though I like Furyk a lot, and an American needs to win this thing. If not an American, I'd love for Easy E to make a charge today.
I like miller. He does have the personality of a more pretentious and accomplished jimmy hyams. But he is usually spot on, the guy knows his stuff. What are these weird ass philosophies you speak of? If you disagree with most of what miller says, you must be wrong a lot.
