I think it’s fair to say they’ve they’ve had some issues the past few years. In addition to what’s going on at OSU, Indiana and Illinois have both fired head football coaches for concerns over player treatment. Maryland’s HC is currently on leave while the university investigates whether or not the toxic culture that he has created played a part in the death of one of his players. Minnesota fired its HC after he publicly supported players as they threatened a protest in support of other players who were entangled in a rather disgusting sexual assault case. Michigan St, minus the horrors of Larry Nassar, has had major problems in both its football and men’s basketball programs. Most of those issues revolve around sexual assault. Rutgers fired both their head football coach as well as their athletic director for failing to comply with university policy and trying to cover up the arrest of seven football players. Oh and then there’s Penn St.
Just randomly thinking back to idiots like Wolkien who think this situation is totally different than UT-Schiano... The main evidence for each instance of wrongdoing is hanging on the word of one person. The Ohio State fans maintain that Courtney Smith is out for revenge and is lying. I don't buy that, but it is somewhat of a thing you could see happening. Mike McQueary said that Schiano knew about the abuse at Penn State. What possible motive could he have to lie? Why single out Schiano? So maybe the instances are a tad different, but honestly in a way that makes people raising hell about Schiano even more justified than those cursing Meyer.
He was asking around how to delete old text messages. Can't remember stuff allegedly, but can remember that he had incriminating texts.
The sheep's clothing has been ripped away from Mr. Meyer for most of the remaining public. He's an arrogant SOB and why shouldn't he be, he has gotten away with everything on multiple occasions.
Why in the [uck fay] any coach making millions of dollars a year doesn’t take the battery out of their University-issued phone and bury it in the yard on Day 1 is absolutely beyond me.
Don’t build the wall during the summer. They must not have lakes in Ohio and swarm Tennessee lakes during the summer.
