Could not in '01 or '07 as I recall, but you could buy it at the events/attractions outside the dome. I was a little sideways myself, so I might have been mistaken in '07.

 

I have attended at least part of every SECT except two since 1994 in Atlanta, New Orleans, Nashville, and Memphis. None of them sold alcohol inside the stadium.

I have attended one SECCG (Auburn beat us in Atlanta.) No alcohol was sold inside the stadium.

SEC rules forbid the selling of alcohol at sporting events hosted by the conference.

 

My mistake then.
