Saw that a bit ago. Can't say I'm shocked based on who was getting the reps. I suppose the question is - for how long?

I'd say he makes it until after the UF game.

He'll hold the job til after the Florida game then they'll make the switch unless he looks so terrible against APSU or WKU that they decide to go on and do it...which is possible.

Running a freshman out against Oregon and Florida just seems like a bad idea. But its not like our schedule gets much better after that. Will be inflicting some liver damage this year.

Wow, McMurphy dropping that. I figured it would be Low. Gotta love getting scooped in your own backyard.

They were supposedly making the decision after Thursday. No real shocked it leaked already.

Also, I see him going 4 games, then the switch before South Alabama.

He won't. He has a noodle arm and just isn't very good.

True Freshman starting @Oregon and @UF...not a recipe for winning. Although this isn't really much better, if at all.

According to a post on vnation he waited so long to name the starter because "all of the qbs were improving so much."

I think Worley is more or less Simms in 2010 - the sacrificial lamb.

I think Ferguson was surprisingly good, but Worley has definitely been disappointing.

We are missing alot of ingredients to the recipe for winning that game.

    Lol.

The good thing is he is behind the same OL Simms was. At least Worley won't get slaughtered as bad, or at least shouldn't. He may just throw more ints

I do think it surprised the staff how good Ferguson looked at times

I just didn't understand how all the qbs improving would delay things. By that theory the best qb on day 1 would still be the best qb today

assuming they all approve at the same rate, or had the same starting point

I think its a staff that doesn't want to crush a the confidence of a freshman they expect to lead the program down the road.
