No idea on accuracy. Just came across the article. https://www.ammoland.com/2013/04/ev...2aDc1zaJHwo7fSYFw2GtZnWz11-PUK4#ixzz5vanIKJxr
think about how dumb that headline is. shootings all have something in common-- but not guns, because of like billiards tournaments and archery I guess.
it would only take you not being able to name one mass shooter's psychiatric drug to debunk it, so keep that in mind. but, read on here: https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-...behind-dubious-claim-psychiatric-drugs-fuel-/
Thing is a large portion of the country is on some kind of psychotropic drug, just like a large portion of the country owns a gun. I think it could be looked at more, but it smacks of correlation not causation.
All imo, but I believe its similar to how weed/alcohol affect a growing brain of a teenager. In boys going thru puberty and chemical changes, I 100% believe the meds are causing a misfiring in those cases, similar to the thought process of someone who is severely bipolar or cte. Just because it doesnt happen to everyone, doesn't mean it doesnt happen. Many people need these drugs to live. However if pills have side effects of death, lymphoma, cancer, stroke, etc, they are surely capable of changing body chemistry during a time the body is going thru its own chemistry changes without other chemical interference.
I believe this 100%. We need some more fun regulations (IMHO) but the biggest issue with America is boredom and loneliness.
Which is crazy since we're the most simulated society in human history. Maybe Fight Club was true. I feel sorry for people that feel lost out there.
But for most people they work in a boring ass job demanding they be there 40 hours a week, 20 of which they spend doing nothing at all. They barely make ends meet while being told you should want more more more. Problem as old as humanity itself, but with the increasing isolation we are forcing in ourselves, starting with TV in the 50s to the internet and virtual reality in the 21st century, it is a weird time for humans. This state is why I think drugs are such a big issue. A lack of purpose and fulfilment brought on by lack of human contact and increasingly sterile jobs. Broad brush, but how I see it.
I think society is built up of three aspects Community, political, and business. I think political and business has grown to the point that it's basically changed/destroyed our sense of community.
I won't argue with anything you mention here in particular, but it still does little to debunk anything. Also, "could"?
