It's one thing to talk the big game. It's another thing to follow thru. If past history is any indication of future performance, I'll be dropping my insurance on Jan 1, 2014 to save some money.

Can we now force Apple to allow me to buy insurance for my iPad after I break it?

If they were that concerned with public perception, they'd have simply voted for it in the first place.

It sounds like the e-mail I got from Amazon, reminding me to pay Tennessee taxes for the items I bought on their site but if I don't than nothing will happen.

It's sad, but nothing new. We have had 10 military actions since WWIIthat I can think of off the top of my head- Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Desert Storm, Somalia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq part duex, and Libya with no Congressional Declaration of War. They ceeded their powers to the executive. No one is willing to take a stand anymore it seems for fear of losing their cushy jobs. The branches were set up to perform certain functions. When they don't, our democracy is no longer functioning as it should. The lack of a spine in our government in it's entirety is sickening. No wonder we are in decline. No politician has bloodless hands on this regardless of party. Our democracy can't work when our "leaders" are more concerned about keeping their cushy jobs and advancing party over country. We deserve whatever this causes because we continue to send these spineless charlatans to DC.

I have absolutely nothing to base this opinion on other than my own personal intuition. While there may be facts to support or refute it, I neither sought nor considered them in arriving at my conclusion.

I just think that Romney won't win enough of either the far right / middle Americans to beat anyone - and certainly not enough to beat a sitting such as President Obama, or one with his campaign infrastructure and financing.

It's like watching Paraguay declare war on The World.

Rubio is on Fox stating that this ruling will be an issue in November, just like 2010.

I just heard them say that if you don't have insurance you'll have an IRS problem. I guess this means that the government will be expanding to emply more IRS agents so in reality this is creating jobs. What's all the fuss about?

It is The People who have ceded both their responsibility and authority, not only in this, but all things.

I'd think if anything could get Mitt those on the far right, this is it. I'd say we are about to get a media blitz about this being the harbinger of the Apocalypse and that if a massive government turnover doesn't occur in the next cycle we will be France by 2020.

Makes me wonder if, now that they are claws in, if they don't bite down, too, kpt. I'm thinking outsourcing high res pathology images and radiology overseas. Currently, there are laws against it, even against between states, but that ain't nothing but a bill.

Fed could decide to send it all over, to save "taxpayer money."

    Yay.

We will all have to get Government jobs so we won't have to pay taxes.

Socialist? You can make that argument.

Commie? No, and a bit overdramatic.

We get the leaders that we deserve. We have had it too good in this country.

Can Obama now have the right to make everyone buy a GM vehicle? At least I already have that.

Romney just said that he will repeal Obamacare on his first day in office.

As a constituent of McConnell, let me go ahead and make my prediction that he will trade this goal for a handful of magic beans and then claim victory in his great compromise.
