I can tell you this, the roster at Florida is better and he beat them. The roster at Georgia is better and he beat them.
The Florida team that quit in October that was qb'ed by Skyler Morningwhig? The UGA team that was rolling out 4th string tbs and walk on wrs?
Dude, it's Vandy. Are you paying attention here? Do you think Georgia,Florida and Tennessee have been down together in the last 30 years ? Nobody else has done it there.
I'm really not emotionally involved in this, but nobody has been able to sign the people he has either due to admissions. Vandy has loosened standards while UT has gone the other direction.
Georgia southern coach clearly should have been hired by texas or USC since he's one of the greatest coaches in history.
I don't think he's godawful terrible. I just think it's kind of ridiculous that he's become this rising superstar that's getting NFL interviews. Everybody says "Look what he's done at Vandy!" and they don't really consider the context and take a closer look.
I think he's a good recruiter and motivator, but I dont' think there is any prayer he wouldn't be a massive failure at the nfl level.
