We do primarily go with local joints as well, and there’s plenty of good place here in Knoxville, but sometimes a chain pepperoni pizza just hits the spot.

 

Fox Ridge Pizza in Memphis is still one of the best I've had. They used to have a pulled pork pizza, which is my favorite if I can ever find it.

Dachshund came close!

 

You know that translates to badger dog? Badger dog my heinie.

 

I do! The standards can handle (European) badgers - not necessarily kill, but extract from their dens. The doxies in the show were all miniature or very bottom of standard. The smaller ones can chase pretty much any small to medium critters out of burrows. They are fearless, tenacious and stubborn little bastards. I love them completely.

 

The ones I've been around the most have been fearful little creatures. They have tons of personality, but have been very shy. There is a large number of them in my hometown, which coincidentally has weiner dog races during Oktoberfest each year. When I was doing long runs around town a couple of years ago, some of the bigger ones would come out to protect their turf when I would pass. I found them pretty funny. Now, as far as that mut on 4th Ave (not a dachshund), I was perfectly willing to make good on my promise to the owner of killing it in from of said owner if it had bitten me.

 

We had a dachshund and that little dog was fearless.

There's a Little Caesars next to my house that has a drive thru. It's hard to beat a last minute $5 pizza that I don't even have to get out of the car to pick up.

 

Also, their deep dish is surprisingly good for chain pizza.

 

The deep dish isn't too bad. Their $5 hot and ready is a steal as a two for one. Eat the pizza, then the box, and you've essentially had two of their pies.

I didn't shave, my hair was all messed up, and I opened my eyes as wide as I could for my concealed weapon permit picture. I thought it would be perfect to make me look crazy, my wife didn't think it was funny at all.
