It's about 11:30 here. I just got back from picking up my daughter from school in what my hillbilly reckoning would call a blizzard. Snow tires are awesome by the way (in the snow, otherwise they suck). She had been on a tour of a college in Salzburg. Snow got bad enough that the bus she was on got stuck, and some of the kids on the bus wound up getting out and shoveling snow.

 

I love snow, but hate driving in it

Wife was like, we have to go to family fun day for her work. I said [uck fay] that, naturally. She said we're going, so I find out it's a a park that has a lake that's top 10 in Miami-Dade county for large mouth bass. I say ok. I wake up this morning, it's in the low 50s, no bass is going to bite down here that cold. So I get boned. After the "fun" day, I'm running lights and sirens trying to get home, and the kids are like, Dadeland Mall is like 3 minutes away. Long story short, I'm sitting outside a fitting room at Nordstrom
