This is a documentary series that follows the East Mississippi Community College football program. I'm two episodes in and it is excellent. Very illuminating as to the state of college football, warts and triumphs.
I've watched a little over half. DJ Law was a guy Tennessee recruited pretty hard for a few months when he was in high school.
You mean as a person or a player? Or both? I have no illusions about who he is. In Gus's offense he could maybe do ok just off speed. Nick Marshall he is not.
As a player. He's a typical athlete with a large ego as a person. He is extremely erratic and he doesn't appear (but is a tv show, so they may have exaggerated it) to "get" why you practice
He seems to have been a hard worker and model teammate at Auburn so I'll take that part of the documentary with a grain of salt. If Gus is willing to run an offense that looks more like 2009 Auburn or Tulsa then I want to see Sean White. If we want to do what we've been doing the past three years Franklin needs to start.
If you are a person who reads sports forums, you owe it to yourself to watch this. So do it. You're worth it. Or at least most of you are worth it. Some of you can **** off and I hope you only watch reruns of designing women.
Ronald Ollie is that guy you know has a good heart and just needs a hand overcoming the shit storm he was born into.
I'm hearing that Gus may be starting to fast track our true fresh QB, may be pulling the plug on trying to develop Franklin.
