I imagine Rocky as a Florida-Georgia Line type of country fan.

One of the worst things about bands like that is that someday they're going to be considered "classic" country and played right alongside Waylon, Willie, Merle, the Georges, and the first two Hanks by some pitiful radio station.

Here We Go still might be my favorite album I own.

I know it’s not a serious comment but my posting history in the music thread would make it obvious that’s not the case.

So in this midst of this, while I wasn't introduced to Cross Canadian Ragweed, I did give them their first shot with an open mind, and well, I regret waiting so long in doing that now.

More into Rascal Flatts or Lady Antebellum?

While Rascal Flatts suck, their lead singer is a legit good guy. He bought a car and paid off a house for a couple that were always supportive of him before he broke big.

Not many of them do that

Robert Earl Keen, Todd Snider, Ryan Bingham, Jason Isbell, James McMurttry, that kind of stuff. So basically the exact opposite.

I wish I’d been able to see them live before they split up.

    Inherited client, 94 years old.

Marines in WW2 , flew B-29s in Korea, then flew B-52s in Vietman.

Not sure I've ever met anyone else who fought in all 3. That's a helluva resume.

Had a great uncle that did it.

He once told a story about being a gunner on a bomber and his gun getting jammed. Japanese pilot understood the situation and flew close enough to him to taunt him. Said he could see him laughing. Amidst the taunting he managed to get the gun unjammed enough to fire one little burst. So, he lived to fight in two more wars and that fighter pilot is fish food.

Called a few minutes ago down to the post office to see about passport services. There was no waiting, first come, first serve yada yada... Ten or fifteen minute drive later, and I'm five deep in line with one person working.
